Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 6:15 PM, Monday–Friday; schedule may vary)
Hours: 40 hours/week (4x10)
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a dynamic outpatient rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment providing comprehensive therapy services across a wide range of specialties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy to improve functional mobility, daily living skills, and overall independence
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary rehab team (PT, SLP, and specialists)
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15–18 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience
- Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
- Lymphedema Certification (mandatory)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior outpatient rehabilitation experience
- Exposure to specialty therapy programs
Work Setting
- Outpatient multidisciplinary rehab department
- Exposure to specialty services including:
- Hand Therapy (CHT)
- Wound Care
- Lymphedema Therapy
- Vestibular Therapy
- Aquatic Therapy & Sports Rehab
- Parkinson’s Programs
- MBS & FEES studies
