Under in-direct supervision, this position assists with the administrative functions of the department as well as advising students in the application process to do Clinical rotations/clerkships and pre-internships in the United States and PR., according with the mission, goals and policies of the University.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Answer phone calls and emails to give information regarding the Clinical rotations/clerkships and pre-internships application process.
- Take payments by phone.
- Maintains confidentiality of student information and records.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
- Knowledge of customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interact with individuals with diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and database management.
Minimum Requirements:
High School or equivalent and one year of related work experience preferably in higher education.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment
- No or very limited physical effort required
Must be Bilingual: English/Spanish
