About the Role
Install, service, and maintain copiers, multifunction printers, and finishers, as well as large-format printing equipment, for clients primarily located in (but not limited to) Northern Virginia across the DC Metro area. Work independently at professional sites, including government agencies, law firms, architecture/engineering firms, NPOs, and corporate offices. Provide knowledgeable, honest, and reliable service that maximizes customer retention.

Salary: $43,000-$85,000 based on experience, certifications, and technical skills
What You'll Do Daily
- Diagnose and repair office MFPs and wide-format printers from HP, Sharp, Canon, Kyocera, KIP, etc.
- Install and configure new equipment, including network setup and software integration
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and networking issues
- Train customers on equipment operation and advanced features
- Manage parts inventory in your company vehicle for efficient first-call resolution
- Document service calls and maintain accurate records using company systems
- Respond to service calls daily across Northern VA, Maryland, DC territory

What We Need from You
Required:
- Valid driver's license with a clean record (as you will be driving a company vehicle daily)
- 2+ years hands-on technical experience: copier/printer repair, IT hardware, electronics, automotive, HVAC, or military technical training
- Customer service skills and professional communication
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work with tools
- Self-motivated to work independently while managing service schedule
Preferred:
- Large-format printer experience (HP, Sharp, Canon, Xerox, KIP, Konica Minolta, Brother)
- Manufacturer certifications (any brand)
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, print drivers)
- Technical degree or certifications (A+, trade school)
Total Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $43,000-$85,000 (experience-based)

Work Environment & Schedule
Territory: Northern Virginia, Maryland, DC Metro area – You’ll be home every night
Schedule: Monday-Friday core hours
Clients: Government, law firms, architecture/engineering firms, healthcare, education, religious organizations
Work Setting: 95% professional office environments (climate-controlled)

Physical Requirements
Work involves frequent kneeling, bending, and the use of hands/tools. Must regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Requires close vision, distance vision, color perception, and depth perception. Work in various office environments, including occasional confined spaces and areas with temperature variations.
