Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress.
  • Adapt lessons and instructional materials to meet the needs of learners across elementary and high school levels.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing ongoing assessment and adjustment of teaching strategies.
  • Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and self-advocacy.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure in Special Education.
  • Experience teaching students in Grades K-5 and Grades 9-12.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and manage diverse classroom settings.
