What We Need: We are searching for a Finance Analyst 2 for our team in Muscatine, Iowa. The Financial Analyst 2 will take a lead role in analyzing, developing complex models, and implementing high-impact initiatives designed to optimize the financial network. This role encompasses strategic and tactical responsibilities aimed at significantly reducing costs, enhancing efficiencies, and driving operational excellence, all while ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory mandates. Additionally, this position is responsible for preparing precise and timely forecasts, managing critical processes including the general ledger, weekly/monthly financials, budgets and forecasts, Treasury, and bid management, all with the objective of delivering superior execution at the best total cost. What you'll do:

  • Lead projects and initiatives related to continuous improvement activities across the finance and accounting functions.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse internal and external customer base to drive financial initiatives.
  • Develop and refine complex models to ensure precise and timely financial analysis.
  • Oversee the integration of assigned process initiatives to ensure seamless and flawless execution.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of data, trends, and economic indices, identify opportunities for enhanced growth and profitability, and develop compelling business cases to support conclusions.
  • Ensure the accurate completion and timely distribution of essential weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Facilitate alignment of broader financial initiatives with key stakeholder groups to achieve organizational goals.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience required; 4 years of experience preferred.
