Safety Supervisor
Summary
Directs and implements organization safety program to ensure safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment by
performing the following duties personally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
• Conduct safety meetings and inspects organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health
hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have
been implemented.
• Assists management and supervisors in investigating accidents and developing measures to prevent recurrences.
• Compiles and submits accident/near miss reports to the Safety Director required by regulatory agencies.
• Plan health and safety training per job requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises 10-20 employees at any given time. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the
organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; addressing complaints and
resolving safety matters.
Pay Range: up to $25 an hour.
Hours Worked: Mon-Fri, 6pm-4:30am
