Role Summary
We’re hiring an Operations Manager to run daily execution across office and operations: people management, vendor/supply chain coordination, process discipline, and customer follow-through so nothing gets missed.
Work Setup
- Dedicated manager office workspace provided
- You’ll coordinate daily with our receptionist, accounting (AP/payroll), shipping/samples teams, and fulfillment team.
Work Environment
Fully remodeled offices located within our 25,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution center, plus an employee lunch room/break area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and hold the team accountable (office + operations workflow)
- Coordinate vendors, purchasing, supply chain issues, and problem resolution
- Ensure customers receive timely updates on orders, invoices, and next steps
- Maintain strong documentation (“paper trail”) so customer requests and issues are handled quickly and consistently
- Coordinate workflows between receptionist, accounting (AP/payroll), shipping, samples department, and fulfillment lead
- Drive weekly reporting and keep priorities clear
- Improve systems and organization as we scale and build CRM discipline
Qualifications
- Proven operations/office management experience with people leadership
- Strong Excel + professional email writing (Outlook style)
- Calm under pressure; organized; consistent follow-through
- Professional communication and strong judgment
- Sage 50/Peachtree experience strongly preferred (QuickBooks acceptable; both are similar—training provided).
Preferred

Construction products / building materials / distribution operations experience strongly preferred (e.g., pavers/tile/stone, roofing, decking, landscape/hardscape, lumber, concrete, manufacturing/wholesale).

Experience coordinating orders, POs, packing slips/BOLs, freight scheduling, lead times, and customer updates in a fast-paced environment.
