Dynamic, Growing Law Firm | Marketing Coordinator | Eagan, MN | Onsite
Job Description
Sieben Edmunds Miller PLLC | Eagan, Minnesota | Part-Time | 20–25 Hours/Week
\n
\n
Do you see marketing opportunities everywhere—and have the initiative to actually do something about them?
\n
\n
Are you the kind of person who can keep a dozen projects moving, follow up when something stalls, and make sure good ideas actually get finished?
\n
\n
Do you want real ownership over marketing for a growing business instead of being one small piece of a large marketing department?
\n
\n
If so, we should talk.
\n
\n
About Sieben Edmunds Miller
\n
\n
Sieben Edmunds Miller PLLC is an award-winning Minnesota criminal defense and personal injury law firm. We have spent years fighting for Minnesotans and have built one of the most recognized legal practices in the state.
\n
\n
Our reputation is backed by more than 70 years of combined attorney experience and over 15,000 cases handled. Our team includes consistently recognized Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America, as well as firm partners who serve as the immediate past president of the Minnesota State Bar Association and State Delegate to the American Bar Association. We are also proud to have been named Gold winner for Criminal Defense, Personal Injury Law, and Best Law Firm Overall in the Star Tribune's Minnesota's Best Awards.
\n
\n
At Sieben Edmunds Miller, we don't follow the standard—we set it. Guided by our Vivid Vision 2029, we are scaling with discipline toward a team of fifteen exceptional lawyers across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. We live by a Three-Way Win standard: we only consider it a success if our clients win, our people win, and the firm wins.
\n
\n
Why We Are Hiring
\n
\n
This is a newly created position. Our firm has grown to the point where marketing deserves a dedicated person inside the organization.
\n
\n
We work with sophisticated outside marketing partners and invest significantly in digital advertising, SEO, content, video, social media, and other channels. We need someone inside Sieben Edmunds Miller who can connect those pieces, keep projects moving, identify opportunities, and make sure we are getting everything we can from our marketing investment.
\n
\n
You will not be expected to personally run Google Ads, build our website, or become our SEO expert. We already have outside specialists for that work. Your job is to be our internal marketing quarterback.
\n
\n
The Opportunity
\n
\n
This is not a passive marketing support job.
\n
\n
We want someone who notices that an attorney just won a great case and thinks, “We should do something with that.” Someone who hears the same question repeatedly from prospective clients and realizes it should become an article, video, FAQ, or social post. Someone who sees an outdated profile, an approaching award deadline, or a stalled vendor project—and takes ownership of it.
\n
\n
You will work directly with firm leadership, our attorneys and staff, our sales team, and our outside marketing partners. You won't be joining a marketing department. You'll help us build one.
\n
\n
What You Will Do
\n
\n
• Serve as the primary internal point of contact for outside marketing partners and keep campaigns, projects, deadlines, and deliverables moving
\n
• Help leadership track marketing performance, lead sources, and return on investment
\n
• Identify and coordinate articles, videos, FAQs, social posts, attorney content, and other marketing opportunities
\n
• Help attorneys turn their knowledge and experience into useful content
\n
• Coordinate social media and repurpose strong content across multiple channels
\n
• Maintain attorney biographies, lawyer-directory profiles, and other online listings
\n
• Coordinate submissions for Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, Minnesota Monthly, Star Tribune and other recognition programs
\n
• Support the firm's review-generation and online reputation efforts
\n
• Manage Net Promotor Score tracking
\n
• Coordinate the firm's newsletter, scholarship program, sponsorships, and community involvement
\n
• Work with our intake and sales team to identify the questions prospective clients are asking and turn those insights into better marketing
\n
• Help strengthen attorney referral relationships and professional visibility
\n
• Explore emerging AI-driven search and marketing opportunities, including AEO and new ways potential clients find lawyers online
\n
\n
Who Thrives Here
\n
\n
• You take ownership and follow through
\n
• You are proactive, not reactive
\n
• You are organized enough to manage multiple projects at once
\n
• You are creative, but you also understand that execution matters
\n
• You communicate clearly and are comfortable following up with busy people
\n
• You are tech-savvy, curious, and willing to experiment with new tools
\n
• You notice details and opportunities other people miss
\n
• You bring us ideas. You don't just wait for assignments
\n
\n
Preferred Qualifications
\n
\n
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, business development, digital marketing, or a related field preferred
\n
• Strong written communication and project-management skills
\n
• Experience coordinating social media, digital content, or outside vendors is a plus
\n
• Comfort learning and working with modern marketing and AI tools
\n
• Law firm or professional-services experience is a plus, but not required
\n
\n
We are more interested in finding someone smart, organized, creative, and proactive than someone who checks every box.
\n
\n
Schedule & Compensation
\n
\n
This is a part-time position of approximately 25–30 hours per week, based at our Eagan office. We anticipate a competitive hourly rate, depending on experience. There is meaningful opportunity for the position to grow as the firm continues to grow.
\n
\n
How to Apply
\n
\n
Submit your resume and a brief cover letter telling us why this opportunity interests you.
\n
\n
And because we're hiring a marketer, feel free to show us some personality. Tell us about something you've marketed, built, improved, grown, or figured out that you're particularly proud of.
\n
\n
If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, try new things, and actually see the results of your work, we'd like to meet you.
