Incentives:

Unit Overview:
We operate a dynamic 36-bed Orthopedic Unit, specializing in the care of patients undergoing spinal surgery, as well as other medical cases. Our unit is characterized by exceptional teamwork and commitment. We are on a journey to become a Center of Excellence and achieve Joint Commission Certification for our Spine Program.
- 5:1 Patient to Nurse Ratio
- One of two inpatient units dedicated to post-operative spine care
- Focus on advanced certification and education
- Specialized Spine Program
- Personalized orientation aimed at ensuring competent post-operative spine care
Qualifications:
- Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Physical Requirements: The role involves regularly pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 50 pounds. Prolonged standing and walking are required each shift, along with the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill job duties
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or completion of the course within 30 days of hire
- Other unit-specific certifications as required, to be obtained within the designated timeframe
