As a Professional Land Surveyor, your job will include:

Consulting with clients regarding Land Surveying.

Providing estimates for various scopes of work.
-
Planning and conducting ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.

Directing or conducting surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties based on deeds, maps and title reports.
-
Supervising and manage field crews.
-
Managing projects from start to finish.
-
Reviewing, stamping and certifying your work and the work of others.

Verifying the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.

Preparing and filing Record of Surveys.

Preparing and publishing sketches, maps, and reports.
-
Writing legal descriptions for use in deeds, easements, or other legal documents.
