Physical Therapist Assistant – Pompano Beach, FL Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: Pompano Beach, FL
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Work Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
Office Assignment: One office location only
Pay: $30–$36 per hour
Schedule: Flexible options available

We are recruiting a Physical Therapist Assistant in Pompano Beach, FL for a single-location outpatient orthopedic clinic. This role supports patients recovering from injuries, post-surgical conditions, pain, stiffness, weakness, and mobility limitations.

The PTA will help patients complete treatment plans created by the Physical Therapist. The work includes guided exercises, functional movement training, mobility support, and ongoing communication with the supervising PT.

Schedule Options:

  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Implement outpatient physical therapy treatment plans under PT direction
  • Assist patients with exercises, stretching, mobility training, and strengthening programs
  • Support balance work, gait activities, and functional rehab
  • Track patient response and report updates to the Physical Therapist
  • Encourage correct form and safe movement during treatment
  • Complete treatment documentation accurately
  • Help support a smooth outpatient clinic schedule

Requirements

  • Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License
  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
  • Clear communication and reliable follow-through
