Cell Leader - CNC Manufacturing (Day & Night Shifts)
Location: Bartlett
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day Shift & Night Shift Available
We are seeking experienced and motivated Cell Leaders to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates with experience in medical manufacturing are preferred, but strong CNC machining leadership experience from other industries will also be considered.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supporting machine operators, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational efficiency across the shop floor.
Responsibilities
Lead and support day or night shift production personnel
Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure productivity and schedule adherence
Maintain quality standards and enforce safety procedures
Train and mentor new and existing employees
Troubleshoot machining and production issues on the floor
Operate CNC equipment and produce quality components
Coordinate workflow and work order priorities across production areas
Ensure proper tooling, CNC programs, routers, gauges, and materials are available for production
Support cross-training initiatives and employee skill development
Track attendance, overtime schedules, and shift coverage
Communicate production updates and completion status to management
Maintain shop cleanliness and organization
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing leadership or Cell Leader role
Experience with CNC machining operations required
Knowledge of CNC Milling, CNC Lathes, and CNC Swiss machines preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead by example in a hands-on production environment
Experience coordinating production schedules and priorities
Strong communication and team leadership abilities
Medical manufacturing experience preferred but not required
