Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher position is available within a school setting located in Wilmington, VT. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs by providing tailored instructional strategies and fostering an inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet students unique learning requirements.
- Deliver specialized instruction in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress and well-being.
- Utilize various teaching methods and assistive technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Monitor and document student performance, adjusting instruction as needed.
