Job DescriptionSalary: $85,000 $120,000

Intreped Partners, LLC (including its subsidiary Global Systems Engineering, LLC) is seeking a HVAC Controls Technician / EMCS Technician II (Programming & Systems Focus) to support advanced Energy Management Control System (EMCS) functions at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. This role emphasizes system programming, graphics development, diagnostics, and data management within a Siemens-based environment supporting mission-critical infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform control system programming and sequence modifications
  • Develop and update system graphics within the EMCS interface
  • Conduct system diagnostics and performance analysis
  • Perform trend analysis and support system optimization efforts
  • Execute system backups (minimum quarterly)
  • Perform database and controller-level diagnostics
  • Support preventive maintenance program execution
  • Assist with annual facility inspections
  • Support integration of new devices, system upgrades, and expansions
  • Ensure system consistency with existing Siemens architecture


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in BAS or control systems
  • Experience programming or configuring control systems
  • Experience with graphics development and visualization tools
  • Experience working with trend logs, databases, and system diagnostics
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences


Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Siemens Desigo, Apogee, or Insight systems
  • Experience with system backups, databases, and panel diagnostics
  • Familiarity with ICS cybersecurity practices and RMF environments


Security & Access Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD-issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a clearance)
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain base access


Work Requirements

  • Full-time, 100% on-site at Joint Base Andrews, MD
  • Participation in emergency response support as needed
