Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced nursing care to patients in the CVICU, monitoring cardiac status and responding promptly to changes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and manage life support equipment with proficiency
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation according to regulatory standards
Qualifications or Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with CVICU nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills specific to cardiovascular care
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Prior experience managing complex cardiac patients preferred
