Job DescriptionOptician – Oregon, Illinois
Our customer in Oregon, Illinois is seeking a dedicated Optician to join their team on 1st shift. The Optician will assist patients with selecting and adjusting eyewear while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Experience is a plus, but the employer is willing to train the right candidate who is detail-oriented, friendly, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities of the Optician:
• Adjust glasses for proper fit and comfort.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on their needs and style preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Train and learn all aspects of optical services.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure attention to detail in all tasks.
Optician Requirements and Qualifications:
• Experience as an optician preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional customer service skills.
• Clinical or healthcare-related background is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay for Optician: $15.00/hour – $16.00/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM (Training in Freeport office Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. May be required to work Mondays in other offices as needed.)
