Position Summary

As a Telephone Receptionist, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth communication within our organization. You’ll be responsible for managing the front desk, answering and directing calls, and assisting with administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys multitasking, working with people, and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front desk phone operator, answering and directing incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
  • Dispatch messages and relay information to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Assist with special projects and minor secretarial duties as needed.
  • Use a radio/walkie-talkie to relay vital park information.
  • Handle multiple phone lines and manage written messages accurately.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a receptionist or in a similar clerical/administrative role.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a pleasant telephone voice and excellent phone etiquette. All Speech and Behavior must remain professional -- no foul language or demeaning/degrading words or actions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with office management software (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel). Ability to type on an electric typewriter and keyboard accurately.
  • Customer Service: A professional and courteous demeanor with strong people skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Schedule and Availability

  • Shifts are available 7 days a week:
  • 7:30 am – 12:30 pm
  • 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm
  • 5:30 pm – closing (between 11:30 pm and 12:15 am)
  • Flexible scheduling is available, but candidates must commit to working at least one shift on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Preference is given to candidates residing near I-70 & Sheridan (Highlands, Sloan’s Lake, Wheat Ridge, Edgewater, Mountain View, Arvada, and surrounding areas).
