Bookkeeper

Our Gilbert client is seeking a Bookkeeper - Office Manager to join their team!

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager & Bookkeeper to manage the essential financial and administrative functions of our office. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity for an individual who is comfortable handling all day-to-day bookkeeping tasks while serving as the primary point of contact for office operations and customer reception.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Financial Administration

  • Manage all core accounting functions, including:

    • Accounts Receivable (A/R): Sending invoices, verifying payments, and applying receipts.

    • Accounts Payable (A/P): Processing and researching invoices for payment.

    • Payroll Entry: Accurately entering and submitting payroll data.

    • Account Reconciliation: Performing regular bank and credit card reconciliations.

  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.

Office Management & Customer Support

  • Manage the front office, including answering phones and professionally directing calls.

  • Provide initial assistance to in-person customers until the appropriate departmental contact is available to meet with them.

  • Handle various administrative and clerical support tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Software Proficiency: Required experience with QuickBooks, ideally QuickBooks Desktop.

  • Bookkeeping Experience: Proven ability to handle A/R, A/P, and account reconciliation.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills for phone and in-person customer interactions.

  • Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain highly organized financial records.

  • Adaptability: The willingness and ability to be trained on additional departmental and administrative tasks based on performance and aptitude.
