Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide specialized services within a K-12 educational setting serving students in grades K-5. This position is based in Naval Anacost Annex, DC, and offers a contract for the upcoming school year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and monitoring student outcomes.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Credentials and experience in pediatric speech-language pathology.
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred.
- Experience working in school settings serving K-12 populations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children and school staff.
Position details:
- Caseload primarily includes students from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
- Full-time commitment, approximately 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
- Location: Naval Anacost Annex, Washington, DC.
- Contract duration aligned with the school year.
