Position: Customer Service Account Representative
Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional support to customers by assisting with order entries and inquiries while maintaining positive relationships for all sales segments including the National Sales team. You will play a key role in addressing customer concerns and requests, which may involve various complexities, requiring strong problem-solving skills.
Effective communication with customers, vendors, and colleagues is essential, ensuring all interactions are professional, accurate, and timely. Your ability to provide clear and thorough responses will contribute to overall customer satisfaction and a seamless service experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to multitask while dealing with customers.
- Process incoming orders/revisions: verify pricing, minimums, etc.
- Update customers with order status via email and phone.
- Prepare, review and disposition customer product returns and pricing discrepancies while enforcing company policy and procedure.
- Manage customer records.
- Work with logistics and customers to optimize cost and service while implementing business objectives and policies.
- Manage process improvements through cross-functional collaboration as well as partnering with customers.
- Foster and manage critical business relationships while understanding customer expectations and policies.
- Resolve customer discrepancies relating to data integrity, shipping issues and pricing.
- Manage and direct requests and inquiries from internal & external customers.
- Learn and utilize technology to identify root causes and problem resolution relating to On-Time Delivery, Order Fill and other individual/team metrics.
Education, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Manufacturing experience in Food and Beverage
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic Algebra.
- Manage customer records.
- Detail-oriented, must work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
