Make an Impact One Invoice at a Time
At Alluvion Health, we’re not your typical healthcare organization. As a mission-driven FQHC, we believe that quality care starts with a strong, supported team, including our Finance Department. We’re looking for a meticulous and motivated Accounts Payable Accounting Specialist to help keep our operations running smoothly by ensuring our bills are paid accurately, on time, and with purpose.

In this role, you won’t just be crunching numbers; you’ll be a vital part of a collaborative team that supports our providers, departments, and community initiatives. From processing invoices to assisting with monthly closes and budgets, your work will help fuel everything from patient care to community programs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Accurately process and code invoices, credit card transactions, and purchase orders

  • Ensure timely payment of vendors and reconcile monthly statements

  • Collaborate with department managers to allocate expenses to the correct funds, grants, and programs

  • Maintain organized vendor files and payment records

  • Assist with staff travel reimbursements and expense reports

  • Support payroll and accounts receivable functions as needed

  • Contribute to budgeting, audits, and month-end close processes

  • Be part of a dynamic team that values accuracy, accountability, and clear communication

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma required; a degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or AP roles preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting software

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate professionally across teams and work independently

  • A team player with a can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Must have a valid Montana driver’s license

What You’ll Love About Working Here:

  • A supportive, mission-driven team that values your contributions

  • Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package

  • Work-life balance with a consistent weekday schedule

  • The opportunity to make a difference behind the scenes in community health

  • A positive workplace culture where everyone matters, because we care about our people as much as we care about our patients!
