POSITION OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Developer to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Kotlin skills and experience with React Native for cross-platform development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and build high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly Android applications using Kotlin.
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
- Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Optimize application performance and ensure a smooth user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android and mobile development trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of Kotlin and React Native projects.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Android frameworks (e.g., Android SDK, Jetpack).
- Solid understanding of React Native and its core principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Java.
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices.
- Experience with automated testing (e.g., JUnit, Espresso, Jest).
- Understanding of the mobile development lifecycle.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
