Job Overview:
- The Material Handler will be responsible for transporting turbine parts and materials throughout the facility utilizing a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Move heavy parts as well as warehouse materials throughout the site.
- Manage crate and box inventor.
- Deliver and manage scrap parts inventory.
- Crate and box parts utilizing a foam machine, saw and other tools.
- Ability to pack/unpack crates, boxes, and pallets.
- Maintain inventory of wooden and plastic pallets as well as various crates; store and stack them neatly, deliver as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or storage yard
- Ability to operate a forklift rated for over 15,000 pounds.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Outlook and Excel)
- Capability to actively work on multiple tasks at the same time.
- Ability to be certified in crane and rigging operations.
