Position: RN-PCU-Progressive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly to ensure optimal care.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

• Assist in achieving departmental targets and performance metrics.

• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

• Document patient progress and care activities accurately and timely.

• Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

• Engage in self-assessment and seek feedback for personal growth.

• Manage time effectively to prioritize patient care and administrative tasks.

• Support a positive team environment through effective communication.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida and relevant certifications for PCU.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar healthcare setting.

• Proven ability to manage time and prioritize patient care tasks.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams effectively.

• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.

• Eagerness to engage in self-assessment and seek feedback.

• Ability to document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.

• Ability to support a positive team environment through effective collaboration.

• Experience in utilizing data to evaluate patient outcomes.
