Pediatric Phlebotomist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Phlebotomist to join our growing clinical research team. This role is ideal for someone experienced in working with infants, children, and adolescents in a calm, professional, and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on pediatric participants (infants through adolescents)
  
  
• Follow study protocols and SOPs for specimen collection, processing, labeling, and storage
  
  
• Provide a comforting and supportive experience for pediatric patients and parents
  
  
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical research and regulatory standards
  
  
• Adhere to GCP, HIPAA, and infection control procedures
  
  
• Work closely with coordinators, nurses, and investigators during study visits
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred
  
  
• Minimum 1–2 years pediatric phlebotomy experience
  
  
• Strong ability to perform pediatric and infant blood draws confidently
  
  
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
  
  
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional with children and families
  
  
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Clinical research or research site experience
  
  
• Experience with vaccine trials or pediatric studies
  
  
• Knowledge of specimen handling and centrifugation
