Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve an elementary caseload for the remainder of the school year. This role involves providing speech and language services to students across 2-3 itinerant elementary school sites, offering a dynamic and varied work environment. There is potential for contract renewal into the following school year, providing opportunity for continued professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
- Manage an itinerant caseload, traveling between multiple school locations.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children.
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule, traveling between multiple school sites.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language pathology and education.
