Full-Time | Part-Time | PRN

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

  • Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to improve patients' independence, safety, and quality of life.

  • Assist with therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADLs), adaptive techniques, and use of assistive equipment.

  • Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, exercises, and techniques to maximize independence.

  • Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation.

  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.

  • Promote safe, compassionate, high-quality care that helps patients remain independent in their homes.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of practice.

  • Current NBCOT certification, if applicable.

  • Current CPR certification.

  • Minimum of two years of COTA experience preferred.

  • Home Health experience is a plus but not required.

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
