About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Operate FedEx line haul trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all federal and state driving regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and freight deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Ensure timely deliveries and pickups to meet customer expectations.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight as necessary.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and routes.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
