Your Role as a Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work one-on-one with individuals with special needs, following a personalized care plan. Positions are available part-time or full-time, with one or more assigned clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing hands-on, compassionate support with daily living skills

  • Encouraging personal growth, independence, and community engagement

  • Assisting with personal care, behavior support, and medication reminders

  • Participating in recreational activities, outings, and meaningful routines

  • Collaborating with families and care teams to support individualized care plans

What We're Looking For

✔ A heart for caregiving - Genuine compassion for individuals with special needs
✔ Experience (formal or informal) - Babysitting, teaching, CNA, or similar roles (min. 3 months)
✔ Strong communication - Ability to build trust and maintain clear documentation
✔ Patience and adaptability - Ready to navigate daily challenges with empathy
✔ Reliable transportation - Some roles may require a valid driver's license
✔ Ability to pass a background check - Ensuring client safety is our top priority
