Job DescriptionAbout the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our fast-paced Central Fill Pharmacy team. In this role, you'll help ensure medications and supplies move smoothly through the facility-supporting accurate, safe, and timely prescription fulfillment for thousands of patients.

What You'll Do

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries of medications, packaging materials, and supplies.

Compare shipments with purchase orders and report discrepancies.

Organize and route received items to proper storage locations, following all pharmacy protocols.

Prepare completed prescription orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and exceptional quality.

Generate shipping labels and documentation using carrier software and pharmacy systems.

Coordinate pickups with carriers

Maintain clean, organized storage and work areas.

Follow all safety, DEA, state, and company regulations for handling medications and controlled substances.

Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and supply replenishment.

Support pharmacy staff with additional tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
Required

High school diploma or GED
-
Previous experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse work, or logistics

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to lift/move 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
Preferred
-
Experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or other regulated environment

Knowledge of controlled substance handling procedures

Inventory or logistics certifications are a plus

Pay: $15.20-$22/hour based on applicable experience
Shift: First shift (flexibility required) - 6A to 6P OR Second Shift (flexibility required) - 3P to 2A
