JOB SUMMARY:
- Perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease. Support both administrative and clinical functions as needed, including patient registration and medical assisting duties
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and guide patients through procedures with compassion and professionalism
- Position patients accurately for imaging procedures
- Adhere to ALARA radiation protection standards
- Process and review images for quality and identification, preparing them for physician and radiologist review
- Operate both digital and non-digital imaging equipment in compliance with established techniques, policies, and procedures
- Assist providers with prescribed treatments in accordance with approved standards and protocols
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and coordinate necessary repairs
- Complete and maintain forms, records, logs, and reports of work performed
- Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant as needed within appropriate guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience/training
- ARRT-registered or board-eligible preferred
- State licensure required; in some states, Medical Assistant Certification, Practical Nursing License, EMT, or Paramedic certification may be acceptable
COMPENSATION:
- $28.00 – $36.00 per hour
