Job Title: Order Management / Customer Service Specialist

Location: Cary, NC (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract (Possible Extension OR Conversion)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Pay Rate: $26/hour on W2


Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Management / Customer Service Specialist to support a high-volume order processing environment. This role is responsible for managing customer orders, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong customer relationships while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end sales order processing, including order entry, validation, and tracking
  • Process and handle a high volume of customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure all orders are acknowledged within 24 hours and delivered on time
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as logistics, supply chain, accounts receivable, and shipping
  • Monitor order status, inventory levels, and resolve backorders or delivery issues
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and order discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate customer data and account records in SAP
  • Support quote-to-cash processes including invoicing and order confirmations
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and process updates

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in order entry, order management, or customer service roles
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and high-volume workload
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or similar industry
  • Familiarity with quote-to-cash processes
  • Background in call center or shared services environment

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Shift: Day shift
