\n\nJob Description\n

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients as per medical guidelines and protocols. The role requires close cooperation with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Conduct MRI scans on patients in various settings, including adult acute care and outpatient services.

\n

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

\n

• Utilize specialty imaging techniques including diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, and image post-processing.

\n

• Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

\n

• Document imaging procedures and patient interactions accurately.

\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI technology; 2 years preferred.

\n

• Certifications: BLS, ARMRIT, and ARRT R preferred.

\n

• Familiarity with EPIC charting system and GE equipment required.

\n

• Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including those affected by COVID-19.
