MISSION OF THE POSITION
The Accounting Administrator is responsible for the primary accounting functions of WAI, WCS, and BM, including clerical and entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records, and preparing financial, statistical, and/or technical reports.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting Department.
- Process payments to external partners and maintain updated records of invoices and receipts.
- Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and distribution of mail.
- Maintain communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
- Process transactions, issuing checks, updating ledgers, and budgets.
- Manage customer collections.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Assist with audits, verification of information, and resolve discrepancies and variances.
- Review and reconcile accounts as needed.
- Participate in company sponsored training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
- Associate’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Accounting/ Auditor/ Examiner Certifications a plus
