Job Title: Assembler Technician
Job Description
The Assembler Technician will support custom test equipment projects for a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, and defense. Working closely with a Project Engineer or Project Manager, this role helps troubleshoot issues, maintain project schedules, and drive projects to completion. The technician will assemble and wire custom electrical and electronic systems ranging from bench-top electrical boxes to 80/20 machine frames, rack-mount cabinets, and IT racks.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an assigned Project Engineer or Project Manager to resolve technical issues, maintain project timelines, and support successful project completion.
- Build and assemble custom circuit boards and cables according to specifications and schematics.
- Perform electronic assembly of wires, connectors, and components with attention to detail and quality.
- Read and interpret light AC/DC power distribution schematics to ensure accurate wiring and assembly.
- Build and wire electrical panels, rack systems, and custom test equipment following mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings and electrical schematics to guide assembly and troubleshooting activities..
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related electrical discipline at the associate or bachelor level (flexible).
- Experience in automotive repair, electrical technology, electronics, or electronics testing.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean, climate-controlled facility with mild noise levels, focused on assembling electronic test boards and custom test equipment. Work is hands-on and detail-oriented, requiring consistent and precise hand movements throughout the day. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some flexibility as long as the schedule remains consistent. You will regularly use hand tools and power tools for mechanical and electrical assembly tasks while working alongside a small, collaborative engineering and technical team

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
