Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Mailing Operator to join our dynamic production team. As the wizard behind the machine, you'll have the opportunity to bring precision and efficiency to our mailing operations. Working onsite in Minneapolis, you'll be an integral part of our team, ensuring that every piece of mail is handled with care and accuracy. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain mailing equipment with precision and efficiency to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up equipment for various mailing operations and handle diverse tasks that keep your day engaging and rewarding.
  • Sort and presort mail according to postal regulations and customer specifications with attention to detail.
  • Monitor mailing jobs for quality control, ensuring that all specifications and customer requirements are met.
  • Build strong relationships with production staff and support various internal departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials used, and any issues encountered during operations.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues on the floor and in other departments to facilitate efficient handling.
  • Learn and adapt to new software and systems as required for job functions.
  • Provide feedback on processes and systems for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of requirements necessary to meet customer expectations.



Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in graphic arts, printing technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a digital print operator or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with digital printing technologies, color management, and prepress processes.
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for color and design.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.



Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to noise from printing equipment and other machinery.
  • Job is subject to interruptions and is involved with all departments.
