***This job will be located in Lincoln, RI***
The basic function of the Warehouse Manager is to provide the necessary planning, organizing, direction, coordination, and control in the administration of warehousing activities, inventory management, in coordination with the activities of the Operations Manager. Provides ongoing management support for the personnel reporting to this position, including assistance with daily and weekly tasks, the evaluation of labor hours worked, the monitoring of inventory controls, warehouse maintenance, costs and customer services.
CORE FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will oversee and manage all order tracking, shipping, receiving, and other warehouse activities and determine the scheduling of daily workloads for personnel reporting to this position. It is his/her responsibility to produce/delivery a quality service that reflects the company's expectations of excellent service in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
- Assoc. Degree from accredited college or university.
- 5 - 7 years Management/supervisory experience in the warehouse/ delivery industry.
- Must have a proven history of strong leadership skills.
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills, computer literate (excel, word, routing software).
- Have the ability to pitch in with physical work when needed.
- Occasional Saturday work when necessary.
