Job Overview
We are a locally owned rental car company seeking a dependable Customer Service Representative for our airport location, with a clear path to Assistant Manager for the right candidate. This is a fast-paced role with consistent weekday daytime hours, ideal for someone looking for stability and growth.
- Shifts are Monday-Friday-daytime hours-7:00am-3:00pm
Primary Responsibilities
Customer Service (Initial Role):
- Assist customers at the airport counter with rentals and returns
- Process reservations, payments, and paperwork accurately
- Explain rental policies, vehicle options, and insurance
- Inspect vehicles at pickup and return
- Answer phones and assist walk-in and reservation customers
- Provide professional, efficient service in a time-sensitive environment
Advancement Responsibilities (After Training):
- Assist with daily airport operations
- Help manage vehicle availability and turnaround
- Support training and supervision of staff
- Handle escalated customer concerns
- Open and close the location as needed
Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred (rental car, hotel, airline, retail, hospitality)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Comfortable with computers and paperwork
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- Interest in leadership and advancement
