Job Summary: First Health Moore Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Imaging Department on a 13-week travel assignment. The Nuclear Medicine Tech will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to support accurate patient diagnosis while maintaining the highest standards of safety and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
Adhere to radiation safety and infection control policies
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
NMTCB Certification (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience (preferred)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging department
