- Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:15 PM
- Total Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a motivated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support special education services in a school setting. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to assist students with speech, language, and communication development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans under SLP supervision
- Conduct speech/language screenings (without interpretation)
- Follow IEP goals and therapy protocols
- Provide direct student support for communication development
- Document student progress and report to supervising SLP
- Prepare therapy materials and classroom resources
- Support classroom organization and learning activities
- Maintain accurate records and data tracking
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree (Required)
- Active SLPA License – Arizona
- Strong understanding of speech and language development
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under SLP supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years SLPA experience (entry-level accepted)
- School or special education setting experience
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
