Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for hardscapes and a deep understanding of the concrete products industry? We are seeking a motivated Architectural Sales Representative to drive business development in the Southwest market, promoting high-quality hardscapes and concrete products to a diverse customer base.
The candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, client-oriented sales environment. This role requires a high level of professionalism and expertise in hardscapes and concrete products, supporting customers across the Southwest market. The Architectural Sales Representative will develop relationships with architects, designers, dealers, and end-users to drive profitable sales and expand the company’s hardscape product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key point of contact for architectural and design professionals, providing detailed product specifications and technical support for hardscapes and concrete products.
- Develop and maintain profitable long-term relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and dealers within the hardscape industry.
- Strategically plan, manage, and participate in the complete sales cycle—prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing sales opportunities for concrete products and hardscapes.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and relationship-building in the hardscape and concrete products market.
- Create and deliver design solution presentations to architects, builders, and developers, emphasizing the benefits of hardscapes.
- Provide support to key dealers, ensuring proper hardscape product placement, training, and marketing assistance to drive sales.
- Work closely with dealers to support their needs, including inventory recommendations, merchandising, and promotional strategies focused on hardscapes.
- Estimate project opportunities for inclusion in formal quotations or tenders. Provide post-sale customer service, including delivery coordination, warranty support, and issue resolution related to hardscapes and concrete products.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Interested candidates MUST have building materials sales experience within the territory.
- Knowledge of the hardscape and/or construction industry is a key advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, interior design, architecture, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within hardscapes, concrete products, construction materials, or building products.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage a flexible work schedule, including occasional Saturdays.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
