Job DescriptionPosition Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full life cycle recruiting process—including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and initiating onboarding activities—to support the organization’s workforce needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers and leadership to build strong talent pipelines and ensure a high‑quality candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a diverse talent pipeline aligned with short- and long‑term staffing goals.
  • Ensure candidate pools are consistently filled with individuals who possess the necessary skills, experience, and competencies.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing channels and identify those that yield the strongest talent.
  • Maintain accurate and organized applicant data, including resumes and skill assessments, to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Source both passive and active candidates through social media, professional associations, universities, and additional data-driven platforms.
  • Employ proactive and non‑traditional recruitment strategies (direct sourcing, networking, career fairs, internships, co‑ops, etc.).
  • Serve as a liaison between candidates and the company throughout the interview process, ensuring a positive and transparent experience.
  • Assist with creating, updating, and posting job descriptions across various platforms.
  • Manage and maintain internal and external job boards.
  • Partner with hiring managers and the leadership team to understand talent needs, provide guidance on interviewing, and support candidate assessment.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for exempt and non‑exempt roles from requisition through offer stage.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to reduce time‑to‑fill and enhance recruitment efficiency.
  • Utilize effective, consistent, and lawful interviewing tools that support fair and unbiased decision‑making.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Human Resources department by participating in projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Experience & Education

  • 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably within the material handling industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in a business-related field.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
