Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their drink and food orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Upsell additional food and beverage items
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a bartender in the food service industry is required
- Knowledge of mixing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple drink orders simultaneously
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and ability to perform basic math calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Sales skills to promote specials, upsell, and increase revenue
