A healthcare facility in Mooresville, NC is seeking experienced Registered Nurses specialized in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to support their Level III and Level IV NICU units. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a critical care setting providing exceptional care to neonates in need.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care to neonates in the NICU, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to any changes.
- Utilize electronic medical records (preferably Meditech) to document patient care accurately.
- Adhere to required certifications and licensure standards consistently.
- Maintain open communication with family members and healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
- Active NC State or Compact RN license.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience.
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic medical record systems preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), with flexibility for a fourth shift and overtime after 48 hours.
- Minimum commitment of every other weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun).
- Submission of Qualivis cover sheet and current NURSYS report required.

Work Schedule:
- Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) with optional flexibility for a fourth shift.
- Blocked schedule requests will be considered for work-life balance.
