Sales Executive

Location: Chamblee, GA

Work Arrangement: Onsite/Field-Based

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Pay Range: $50,000 to $60,000 base salary

Commission: Commission opportunity, TBD based on performance and sales results

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with 1-hour lunch. Overtime may be involved.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Chinese/English bilingual Sales Executive to grow and support restaurant, wholesale, distributor, and foodservice customer relationships in the Atlanta market.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys prospecting, visiting customers, building trust, solving problems, and selling food products in a relationship-driven B2B environment. The ideal candidate will understand restaurant and food distribution customers, communicate clearly in both Chinese and English, and bring a strong sales personality with practical food industry knowledge.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with B2B food distribution, restaurant sales, restaurant operations, wholesale food, Asian food, seafood, produce, beverage, or restaurant supply experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly and annual sales goals established by management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned region.
  • Identify new customers through field visits, referrals, networking, cold calls, and market research.
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies.
  • Visit customers and prospective customers to provide product support, share information, and sell products.
  • Educate customers on product offerings, availability, substitutions, promotions, and service options.
  • Coordinate with accounting to support timely payment collection.
  • Collect past-due payments from customers when needed.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through strong service, rapport, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, accounting, and operations teams to support accurate order processing and distribution.
  • Coordinate urgent deliveries when needed.
  • Input and update orders accurately in the company database.
  • Maintain and safely operate a company vehicle according to company policy.
  • Troubleshoot product-related issues and handle customer complaints professionally.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings.
  • Attend semiannual inventory counts, which may occur on a weekend.
  • Attend company events and functions outside normal working hours as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Chinese/English bilingual communication skills.
  • Food industry knowledge required.
  • Sales-oriented personality with strong customer-service instincts.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to spend significant time in the field visiting customers.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Basic math skills, including markups, discounts, inventory counts, weights, measurements, and conversions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing assignments, customer needs, product availability, and workload.
  • High school diploma required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of food industry sales experience.
  • B2B food distribution sales experience.
  • Restaurant, foodservice, wholesale, or distributor sales experience.
  • Experience with Asian food, Chinese food, Japanese food, Korean food, seafood, produce, beverage, frozen food, refrigerated food, dry goods, or restaurant supplies.
  • Experience selling to restaurant owners, chefs, general managers, buyers, or foodservice operators.
  • Experience in restaurant operations.
  • ERP or order-entry system experience, especially S2K, Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft NAV, or similar platforms.
  • Associate degree or higher.

Work Environment
