Key Responsibilities
The Courtesy Officer will:

Patrol the community a minimum of two (2) times each night between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., seven nights per week.

Inspect common areas and amenities, including the clubhouse, pool, and playground.

Monitor for and report suspicious activity immediately to local authorities and the Community Director.

Provide extra patrol coverage on holidays (e.g., Fourth of July, New Year's Eve) or as needed.

Identify and report areas of poor lighting or malfunctioning security lights.

Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to enhance property security.

Submit a weekly written report/log of all notable activity to the Community Director.
Important Note: Courtesy Officers are not to apprehend or attempt a citizen's arrest unless it is necessary to protect someone from immediate danger.
Qualifications

Must be a licensed law enforcement officer in the same city or municipality as the property.

Completion of police academy training or equivalent law enforcement training required.

Must live on the property (an apartment is included in the compensation package).
