At PVS Structures, we take pride in delivering structural steel that looks as good as it performs — and that starts with a quality paint finish. We're hiring an Industrial Painter for our 2nd shift, 4-day work week. You'll earn a shift differential on top of your base pay, work a consistent schedule, and have every morning and every Friday to yourself.

The Details
- Starting pay: $21.00–$24.00/hr depending on experience
- Shift differential: +$2.00/hr — bringing your effective rate to $23–$26/hr
- Hours: Mon–Thu, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- Schedule: 4-day work week — Fridays always off
What You'll Do
- Perform industrial painting on structural steel components, including:
- Surface preparation — grinding, cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Applying primers and industrial coatings to spec
- Ensuring proper film thickness, coverage, and cure times
- Inspecting painted materials for quality, adhesion, and finish consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe paint area at all times
- Work closely with production and material handling teams to meet schedules and quality standards
- Support quality control and continuous improvement efforts on the floor
- Operate overhead cranes or assist with material movement as needed (training provided if required)
- Continue developing your skills through on-the-job training and mentorship
What We're Looking For
- Experience painting structural steel or industrial metal products
- Solid knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation techniques, and paint equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to craftsmanship and finish quality
- Safety-focused, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Organized and proactive — you take ownership of your area and your work
- Experience operating overhead cranes (remote control preferred, but not required)
- Available and committed to a consistent 2nd shift, 4-day schedule
