We are a small, privately owned optometry clinic that prides itself on providing friendly, personalized, and professional eye care to our patients. Our team is close-knit, and we value a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. This person will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting our doctors and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environment
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits
- Check patients in and out, collect payments, and verify insurance information
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Communicate clearly with patients, doctors, and staff to keep the office running efficiently
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role preferred (medical office experience is a plus but not required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers and learning office software (experience with EHR systems is a plus)
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift Monday through Wednesday
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
