Schedule: PM Shift, 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Availability Required: Weekends required
Pay: $17–$21/hour (based on experience)
Benefits: 2 Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) + 5 days Sick Time
Health insurance: 50/50 Split
About the Role
We’re hiring a Prep Cook to support a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen focused on consistent, high-quality meal production. This position handles daily protein prep volumes of 400–600 pounds and requires strong knife skills, organization, and strict attention to food safety. Must complete video application to be interviewed!
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and portion proteins at high volume (400–600 lbs/day) according to recipes and production specs

Follow standardized prep methods to ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and quality

Operate kitchen equipment safely (knives, scales, slicers, ovens, grills, etc.)

Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations (clean-as-you-go)

Label, date, and properly store ingredients and finished product (FIFO)

Monitor product quality, temperatures, and sanitation standards

Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory organization as needed

Support the team during peak production times and help meet daily output goals
Required Qualifications

Ability to work a PM shift: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Ability to work during the day for a couple weeks to train and transition to PM Shift

Weekend availability is required

Comfortable working in a high-volume production kitchen

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes/specs precisely

Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs repeatedly (bulk proteins, ingredient bins, etc.)

Basic knife skills and willingness to learn standardized processes

Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and a reliable attendance record
Preferred Qualifications

2+ year experience in a prep cook, line cook, or production kitchen role
