Job Description

Job Summary:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for assisting the Manufacturing department by ensuring that inventory supplies are maintained at a level necessary to keep the Company operating on schedule. Responsibilities also include ensuring that material is available to build so product delivery schedules are met.

Essential Functions:

Maintain accuracy of physical inventory of all raw material, hardware, semi-finished and finished goods inventory counts and location
Ensure traceability at the bin level and through the ERP system.
Maintain proper Bin location and identification of inventory.
Ensure compliance with departmental standard operating procedures
Reconcile physical inventory daily (cycle counts) and to the ERP system and prepare inventory level reports
Record adjustments to physical inventory and calculated inventory and track product and material using computerized inventory control procedures
Maintain files of inventory related documentation and enter data into MRP/ERP system
Perform restocking process and material movement within the manufacturing areas and warehouse as required.
Ensure timely closure of job order requests
Carries out day-to-day work following the departments continuous improvement plan

Qualifications:

3 years of experience working in an aerospace and/or a Manufacturing warehouse. 2 years in an AS9100 environment. Or at the discretion of the hiring manager
High school diploma or GED, and some technical school Or at the discretion of the hiring manager
Strong computer skills required with knowledge of Excel/Microsoft Office MRP/ERP
Knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes and standards
Able to understand and perform basic math
Able to work within specific time lines
Must be accurate and detailed with minimum errors
Perform job with minimum of supervision
Work within a team environment
